This Privacy Policy explains what information ListFerret (“we”, “us”) collects when you use https://listferret.app (the “Site”) and how it is used. We have written it to be plain and specific.
The text, lists and files you enter into our tools are processed entirely in your web browser. They are not uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on our servers, and we cannot see them.
We use your browser’s local storage to remember your tool settings (for example separator and filter choices) and your light/dark theme preference. This information never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
If you tick “Don’t show me this again” on our on-screen guided tour, we set one small first-party cookie (listferret_tour_off) that lasts one year, purely to remember that choice. It contains no personal information and is not used for tracking or advertising.
Like most websites, our hosting provider and our service providers may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and pages visited. We use this to operate and secure the Site and understand how it is used.
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
